Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Development, implementation and continuous improvement of Supply Chain Processes (Demand planning and Forecasting, Supply Planning and Balancing)
  • Implementation of S&OP processes and support of local entities
  • Establishment of a group-wide demand planning as a base for supply chain planning
  • Support of stakeholders concerning Supply Chain relevant issues (supplier and market knowledge, planning knowledge, system advice)
  • Use of group wide synergies - leading strategic supply chain activities and establishing a supply chain community
  • Active management and monitoring of supply chain relevant data structure in Greiner Packaging IT-systems
  • Monitoring and benchmarking of Supply Chain Key Performance indicators and lead/support in local improvement projects
  • Detecting and suggesting problem resolutions as quickly and accurately as possible – creative problem-solving
  • Roll-out of best practices within group
  • Explore, execute and report savings and improvement according to guidelines
  • Provide training and education for knowledge widening – continuous learning

Required Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience

  • Higher education in business administration, SCM and/or logistics
  • min 5 years’ experience in supply chain management (preferably in a similar organization, consulting or automotive)
  • Knowledge of S&OP processes and Demand Planning
  • Proven strong analytical, statistical thinking and project management skills
  • Advanced IT-skills including supply chain planning tools
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to build and maintain a group-wide network
  • Ability to convince people in an intercultural environment and be aware of others’ needs
  • Ability to think global and act local
  • Strong communication skills on different management levels
  • Economic thinking and acting
  • Strategic negotiation skills and professional business attitude
  • Ability to coordinate, communicate and motivate
  • LEAN Management & know-how (Six Sigma as an option)
